Day #193: Gym bag

Not your typical gym bag. :)

I have been running, just not posting all of it. In the process of increasing my running I have a minor case of patella femoral syndrome and some pain on my left foot. It's due to my foot strike. New shoes to hopefully help with this problem coming soon. :)

Day #192: Arteest

You can call me an Arteest. I'm glad all my art classes in high school paid off so I can draw very accurate, anatomically correct drawings for my patients. :)

Day #191: Arizona Summer

If you thought an Arizona Summer was all sunshine and scorching heat, you would be wrong.

Outside my front door.  Not the best view, but more for the sounds.  A video! :)

Day #187: Lunch and the Olympics

Delicious sandwich and Olympic Swimming.  Can it get any better?

--------------------------------

pre-marathon training
So I haven't posted my last 2.25 workouts.  This week started actually jogging.  Jog for 5 mins, walk for 5 mins and repeat for a total of 30 mins.  Penny now gets left at home.
Here are the catch up stats.

7/23
Milage: 1.12
total miles: 14.77
Pace: 22:19

7/24
Milage:  0.31
Total: 15.08
Pace: 24:20

7/31
Milage: 2.67
Total: 17.75
Pace: 11:47

First real jogging started and my legs are sore!  My quads hurt on the front of my legs.  You should see me walk down the stairs - I walk straight legged.  Oh what fun this is!  :)
I plan to be up at 5:15am tomorrow to do it again before work starts.
